A bland picture taken in the park on my way to Beanies. But there’s a point to it.

Isn’t nature incredible? The way it does things with colour…

And how quickly it changes. I just can’t stop looking at the trees everytime I leave the house. That churchyard has gone from infancy to maturity in the space of a week.

The trees must be so happy to feel the sun. You can really feel they’re alive the way they’ve reacted to the change in the weather.

Amazing stuff.

And the lengthening of the days too. I know it’s supposed to happen, but I still can’t help but feel it’s pretty incredible that it’s still perfectly light at 9pm.

hmm.

  1. I was thinking the very same thing this morning on the way down to the Tower – how all the trees had suddenly sprouted leaves and how everything looked so nice.

I saw all that cherry blossom too on the way home today.

I really like Sheffield, especially near the uni for all the greenery.

And it staying light ’til late is awesome too.

  2. Yeah, it’s great isn’t it. With such a long winter (or what seems like such a long winter!) I forget just how groovy it can all look.

It’ll be nice when Im free to enjoy the evenings outside, instead of in the library!

  3. I noticed that this morning and was meaning to take a picture later, but completely forgot!

ALSO YAY for bjork! She loves us after all!

  4. Seems like EVERYONE saw that blossom today!

I was sceptical as to whether Bjork would actually make the trip. I mean, a whole trip from Iceland with a big ensemble just to come and see us in Sheffield?!

we are very very lucky indeedy.
