Impressive – 13mbps down – fast for 3G. Comparable with above-ground LTE. Upload speed is pants though, under 1mbps.

Thank goodness for that. Most of the lines I've been riding lately have at least 6 station stretches of connectivity right now. The Fukutoshin line and Hibiya line along with the Shinjuku line are totally complete. Both subway companies are shooting for early April as having all of the lines 100 percent connected.
