People often ask me what I do for a living. It’s hard to tell from my various social media updates or my profile descriptions what it is that I actually do to pay the rent. Perhaps that’s a deliberate ploy of mine.
It’s now 2.46am and I’ve just finished a long working weekend. Looking back over it I can see that it was in a way a good example of the variety of work that comes the way of Wild Tame Co., Ltd. Here’s a quick summary:
- 1 x busy Tokyo streets video shoot using a crazy-looking mobile video rig for a corporate client
- 1 x event photo shoot at Apple Store Ginza, plus editing in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom & export
- 1 x video edit of EU Ambassador press conference
- 1 x 10km relay race dressed in crazy costume (including prize winning!)
- 1 x research trip to Akihabara for further development of LED costume
- 2 x long training sessions for new assistant in video editing
- 1 x 3 hour concept creation session with creative partner for upcoming video
- 1 x video proposal creation for big video job scheduled for next Spring
- Multiple client and friend’s tech support emails dealt with
- Podcast recorded & blog updated
- 78 substantial emails sent related to all sorts of projects
- Several sub-projects of TEDxTokyo worked on
- Multiple client websites updated
- Consulting related to 2 social media campaigns
- Website translation for overseas client
Hmm, time for bed I think. Next client meeting in 6.5 hours from now!

That is one busy weekend… congrats on having a new assistant! It’s impressive seeing how well you’ve done for yourself. It definitely shows hard work pays off! 🙂
